The Mont Marte Signature Box Floor Easel is a solid studio easel constructed from quality Beechwood that can hold a canvas up to 90cm in height.

This Box Floor Easel can securely hold a range of canvas sizes up to 90cm in height using the clamp component - the easel will also support some larger sizes without use of the clamp. With a relatively small base this easel is ideal for artists who need a full size easel in a smaller art space.

Featuring a handy sliding drawer, the Mont Marte Box Floor Easel also allows for easy access to your art supplies.

Q. What is the largest canvas that can fit on this easel? A. The maximum height is 90 cm, or 35.4 inches.

Q. What is the smallest canvas that can fit on this easel? A. This easel can be adjusted down to fit the smallest canvas, even 8cm or smaller.

Q. Can it sit completely flat at 180 degrees or is there a tilt?  A. It cannot tilt or be adjusted flat.

Q. Can it tilt forward for pastel work? A. This easel does not tilt forward, at the most it stands perfectly vertical. 

Q. Can you sit with a chair and use this easel? A. Yes, however the frame at the base may be in the way, depending on the type of chair.

Q. What is the heaviest framed piece this easel can support? A. We recommend the maximum weight to safely use this easel for display is 12-15kgs

Q. Does it collapse down for storage? A. No, it is designed to remain assembled in the studio and does not collapse down.

Q. How long does it take to assemble? A. We recommend setting aside an hour or two to assemble this easel, depending on skill and experience. Once unpacked, all parts and components should be checked off using the instructions booklet prior to starting.
