Bostik Repair All 20ml

Bostik Repair All is an all-purpose repair adhesive for various kinds of surfaces. When cured, it forms a durable rubber. Bostik Repair All provides excellent adhesion to many substrates, including wet surfaces.

Directions:

Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free of dust, dirt, rust, oil, and other contaminants.

We recommend a preliminary test of the compatibility of the adhesive with adjoining materials before use.

Application

• To bond non-absorbent surfaces such as metal or glass, use a brush to apply a thin film of adhesive to both surfaces. Allow 5 to 10 minutes drying time and then, having correctly positioned the surfaces, press them together firmly. The bond will be instant and non-adjustable.

• If one or both surfaces are absorbent apply a generous film of adhesive to one surface only and immediately join the two surfaces together under pressure. Note: using this technique, initial bond strengths will be lower. 

Cleaning

• Remove excess uncured sealant with a damp cloth or water immediately.

• Cured sealant is best removed by mechanical scraping or sanding. 

• Use Bostik Handy Wipe towels to remove adhesive from skin.

About the Brand

In 1889, the Boston Blacking Company was founded in Chelsea, Massachusetts. USA.

A producer of leather colourings and dyes for the shoemaking industry, the company grew and in the 1920’s the Boston Blacking Company was established in 12 countries including Australia.

Several products were launched under the Bostik brand as early as the 1940’s, with the business taking on the Bostik company name in the 1960’s.

In 1980, Bostik was taken over, but the Bostik brand was kept as a stand-alone brand. 

In 2015 Bostik was acquired by Arkema and has been the ‘Adhesives Solutions’ segment of Arkema ever since.

Since 1889 Bostik has patented over 9,000 technologies, covering everything from aerospace interior adhesives to Blu Tack®, growing from a local dye manufacturer to a global industry leader, and the brand has become a household name.
