Mont Marte Floor Easel with Tilt Beechwood

The Mont Marte Beechwood Floor Easel is a classic A-frame easel suitable for all levels of artists and is very popular among Artists.

Suitable for the home or studio, this easel folds flat for easy storage when not in use. There is a small shelf under the canvas support to store your brushes and paints when you are working, and the centre column is used to easily adjust the height with a convenient trigger action lever. The Easel holds a canvas up to approximately 120 cm high.

Constructed from sturdy Beechwood with brass plated steel fittings, this easel can accommodate canvases, boards and panels. Ideal for indoor and outdoor use, this easel can be used for projects at home or taken outdoors for fieldwork.

Q. What is the largest canvas that can fit on this easel? A. The maximum height is 120 cm, or 47 inches.

Q. What is the smallest canvas that can fit on this easel? A. This easel can be adjusted down to fit a 40cm canvas using top and bottom supports.

Q. Can it sit completely flat at 180 degrees or is there a tilt?  A. It cannot be tilted upright to vertical, or tilt forward.

Q. Can you sit with a chair and use this easel? A. Yes, however the tripod front legs may be in the way, depending on the type of chair.

Q. What is the heaviest framed piece this easel can support? A. We recommend the maximum weight to safely use this easel for display is 10-12ks

Q. Does it collapse down for storage? A. It can be stored flat by closing the A-frame, but does not collapse down.

Q. How long does it take to assemble? A. We recommend setting aside about half an hour to 45 minutes to assemble this easel. Once unpacked, all parts and components should be checked off using the instructions booklet prior to starting.
