Jo Sonja 250ml Retarder Medium

Retarding agents are an important tool for artists, especially as modern paints have very fast drying times. Used as an additive to extend the 'open' or drying time of paints, Jo Sonja's Retarder Medium is for use with the Jo Sonja artist's colours or mediums.

It may be used as both a painting medium and for various techniques such as antiquing. This medium can be applied by premixing with paint before using, dipping the brush into the medium before the paint or by painting the canvas with the medium prior to commencing.

Suitable for use with other brands of paint, we recommend testing before applying to your artwork.
