Cutting Mat A1 - 900 x 600mm  

A cutting mat is one of the hardest working pieces of equipment every artists uses. Suitable for the craft room, design studio, sewing room, workshop or classroom, these cutting mats are 'self-healing' which means the mat is not impacted by cutting into it with a sharp blade.

Marked with grid lines at 1 cm intervals, and bold grid lines at 5 cm intervals these cutting mats are versitile and hard wearing. Constructed with 3-ply PVC which prevents warping and buckling.

Handy hints:

• Store flat when not in use

• If your cutting mat becomes warped or mishapen from heat or moisture it can be flattened in a few simple steps.

• Cover a section twice the size of the buckled area of the mat with a tea towel or cloth, and using a medium-warm iron firmly press onto the mat until it becomes warm, moving the iron constantly.

• Place heavy books on top of the mat for 8-12 hours, and repeat until perfectly flat.
