How to paint a still life with acrylic paint
Author: Dana McGorlick-Appelman Date Posted:22 April 2022
Our friends at Mont Marte have done it again with another fantastic, beginner-friendly and easy to follow painting tutorial, this time focusing on how to create a bold and colourful still life painting.
This is a great introduction to creating a vibrant still life, the tools and techniques can be applied to any type of still life painting.
For this tutorial you will need:
Mont Marte Single Thick Canvas
Mont Marte Signature tear-off paper palette
Mont Marte Acrylic Medium Gloss 135ml
Mont Marte Acrylic Gloss Medium is designed to be mixed with Mont Marte Acrylics to impart a glossy finish to your acrylic painting.
Ideal for creating thin glazes, washes and watercolour effects without reducing adhesive qualities or colour strength.
Mont Marte Acrylic Gloss Medium increases the flow of paint and slightly increases the drying time of acrylics allowing the paint to be more easily blended.
Gloss Medium enhances the brilliance of acrylics adding vibrancy to your artwork.
